Naomi Johnson

Most of Naomi Johnson photographs, were quite pleasant. Simple portrait or in costumes for the Ziegfeld Follies. There was no indication that there were any nude photographs that Alfred took of Naomi. The donated photographs of Naomi to the library of congress were all plain vanilla photos. After Alfreds death there came to light a large selection of new nudes.

After Alfred Cheney Johnston's death in 1971, and the sale of his estate, a lot more photos of artful nudes of Naomi Johnson was made public. No one knew of their existence, surrounded in mystery, bewlow are a few of the colorized versions of those photos
